| I'm going over my M1991A1 following the reliability secrets posted at http://www.sightm1911.com/. He talks about flaring the rear of the ejection port. I was wondering if anyone had pictures of the flare or a good description. Thanks |
| Compared to the original 1911 and 1911A1, current commercial Colts already have a larger ejection port "window" and there is little reason to mess with it unless it dings your brass a bit and you are a serious reloader who worries about that sort of thing. It should have zero effect upon reliability. |
I finally learned to not tinker with my guns after I have had too many gins, but I DID get some seriously fu*ked up projects started! |

Thanks for the pic. Sweet looking. I know what you mean about tinkering with your guns. disaster narrowly averted! I have located the range and intend to do more shooting. Looking for something to do when I' at the apartment by myself. My other choice only lasts about three minutes! |
