| Is there a certain 22LR ammo that is recommended for this pistol -- for feeding realiby? |

Like most .22 firearms, you just have to try a variety of brands/types until you find something that works in your specific gun. Recommendations just aren't any good, due to each gun being a case unto itself. What works great in one gun can be a total disaster in another just like it. Most .22 show a preference for most accurate ammo, and some small auto pistols like the TPH are very sensitive on reliability. What you'll need is to find an ammo that offers best reliability with acceptable accuracy. Unfortunately, the two are exclusive. It's not unusual to find a brand of ammo that operates the TPK reliably, BUT is not at all accurate, or an ammo that is super accurate, BUT causes nothing but stoppages. I recommend going out and buying a box of as many brands/types of .22 ammo as you can find and just shooting them until you find something that works. Then buy a bunch of it. During this experimentation, keep the gun as clean as possible and properly lubed. |
