With a choice of three WW2 P-38 byf 44 and byf 45 bring backs each including hard  type clam shell holsters and spare magazine to pick from, how much would a fair price for guns in 95-99% condition and absolutely original be?

LOL, for a minute I thought you were talking about the P-38 Lightning.

That is a nice picture.  Why are the muzzles all 50's?   I thought those things had some 20's mixed in?

Would need pictures to tell. Any import marks? Holsters real or repro's and can you tell the difference?

Bring backs came in 1945 +/- and don't have import marks.  (The imported refinished ones from the Rodina are easy enough to identify.)

Condition is original and varies 95-99% depending on the gun.  byf44-95%    byf44-99%   byf45-99%

The holsters are original to the guns as are the magazines.

99% bring backs?  And he has three of them?  Be very very careful.

The middle/lower weapon should be a 20mm cannon.

I'm assuming they just found it easier, cheaper or more practical to use five .50 caliber dummy barrels.

I agree.  if it's too good to be true, it probably is.  Having three of them should set off some alarm bells regarding authenticity and I'd inspect them very carefully.

Depends, later 44 byf's were dual tone, green slide, blue barrel/frame, byf45 could be all gray, and or dual tone finish, Police Markings? We need pix man,

You would do well to go to http://p38forum.com/forums/index.php to get the info you need.  By the way they will need pictures too, close ups of the guns and their holsters showing the maker of the holster etc.  No one will provide that kind of price info unless the see good pictures first.
