Getting a P22 this week, and was looking online for upgrades.  I've seen the threads with the extraction issues, and how you can modify the factory extractor to help with the spent case ejection.  With that said, has anyone used the Volquartsen "exact edge extractor"?

I can get them for ~$16 via MidwayUSA, just wondered if they were worth it or not.

Personally I would shoot it before I would go moding it. I have 2000 rounds through mine and no ejection issues

My wifes P22 has about half that many without any failures.

Sounds like a plan to me.  Thanks fellas.

The spent shells on both of my P22's had a
large percentage that would land on the top
of my strong hand, so I peened the ejector in
both of them like in the tacked thread on the
mods. It's easy to do, but if yours did happen
to break, you are only $16 away from that
upgrade. Do the mod and if it works you saved
some time & money.

You don't have anything to lose, in my opinion.

Be safe!
