my pt92 afs is very selective on the mags i put in it. it came with two stock mags, one drops effortlessly after release, and the other must be slightly peeled out with the weak hand. i bought a cheaper remake, and it was a total p.o.s., so it flopped instantly.  i filed it down with a hand file and it worked with other spring problems, (since it is still a p.o.s.), and i tried to file on the other non working stock mag, and it did help, but still stiff.. i wont modify it anymore bc im afraid of screwing up a good stock mag,

any feedback on fixing, or repaing it? better yet Tips on what brand to buy and try again, my clips are 17 rounds....thanks

Meg gar is the kind I've got for my 111 they seem to work pretty well they aren't too cheap like 30 or so a mag

I've used MecGar mags in many different guns (not Taurus though) but I'd think they'd work well for the PT92 too.

my older PT92 runs fine even with the cheapo ramline mags but the Mecgar and factory taurus are the only ones id trust. very nice mags

All the mags I've bought for my PT92 have been Mec-Gar 17-rounders.  They have all performed flawlessly.
