Hey there fellow Taurus owners. Just picked up a PT1911AR. So far I love it. Couldn't pass it up at the price I got it for. I knew the previous owner. He took real good care of it.

Duracoated the M85 to match my XDm40 decently well. A sportsmen/surplus/gun store wouldn't pay $50 for it with it's chipping finish before..... so I bought it from the person(my mom <3) and made it a project!  It's now my other sidearm. Serpa's for both, soon to also be duracoated.

The grip is already pretty short, at about an inch shorter grip and barrel both. It's pretty heavy for a daily carry with 12+1, I carry my Kimber Pro Carry now and this doesn't see much time on my belt any more.
