I'm posting here in this forum because the focus is on the PT1911.
I'm wondering if this should be in the old EE somewhere?
Mods may move this post to where it may be most appropriate.

I traded (to my brother Lou) an as good looking as you will ever see (Cherry) Yugo SKS and 400 rounds of Golden Tiger 7.62x39 ammo for a NIB basic blue steel Taurus PT1911 with Novak 3-dot sights. There was something wrong with the SKS trigger, when the trigger was pulled the hammer did not fly and it had slam fired once. Once because after once i never tried it again.
(For those who have to ask, I did tell my brother about the trigger problem)
Since we live in different states we each paid for our shipping and FFL transfers.

I also traded him a Weaver Classic Extream 2.5-10x56mm, 30mm tube rifle scope  that cost me about $315 w/shipping.....for a NIB Lyman 1200DPS3 which is a programmable digital powder dispenser and digital scale. I didn't really want the Lyman DPS3 but the scope wasn't what i wanted in a scope. He hunts deer in Arkansas and ram sheep in Texas every year with centerfire rifle so we think the Weaver CE would be good for that. I have the Lyman thing and its till in the wrapper. I dunno about that thing, hope it works.

Did 'we' make good trades?

Thank You
