Model 44 > Taurus

hey? does anyone here own a model 44? what do you think about it? particularly the grip? have you changed it out for another type?
hopefully someone can give input, thanks in advance!

I have one. 4" ported model. The grip is fine for me, I like it better than the "ribber" one they put on the tracker. The trigger is pretty good right out of the box. It is one of my favorite guns.

I have one with 8 3/4 in barrel and it is a good shooting handgun. My sister can shoot it one handed. The grips are great,trigger is good also. Carry it in brush for bear gun.

I love my Taurus 44. I wish I could find speedloaders for it though.

theese fit. The same holsters and speedloaders for S&W N frame will fit the model 44

I bought mine about two years ago. I really like it. A very smooth double action trigger pull. I love the ported barrel and the rubber grips that come standard with the gun.
