I had one whent hey first came out.  It was a great gun, and if I ever run across another I'm going to buy it.  Recoil was pretty stiff out of the light gun, but it was easy to carry.  I got rid of it because I couldn't get ahold of any mags at a reasonable price.  It was when they first came out.

Suprisingly, it seems like not too many people have ever owned them.  Light, DA, cocked and locked capable, hammer drop safety, no sharp corners, good sights, not much to dislike about the gun.

Nope you and my brother are the only ones in America with it.  J/K  I had the early PT 911 and it was a good solid gun.  My brother has had his for over five years now and loves it.  You can't go wrong with Taurus customer service either.

I had one and loved it. It ate everything I fed it and factory mags were not hard to find and cheap. I wish I could have found a set of adjustable sights for it. I would still be using it as my carry gun but it hammer bit the hell out of me. That is the only reason I sold it. I have read on another board that the grip sleeves they make now can cure this. I sold it for a Glock 30 so I'm still happy but wold pick another one up or the 9mm version if I could find a good deal.

I've had mine for almost 2 years, picked it up brand NIB with 3 mags for $329 at the local gun show. This is one of my favorite guns to shoot, it just feels "right" in my hand, all my buddies that have shot had a favorable opinion of it also. It isn't a very common gun though, go figure. Have put over 500 assorted rounds through it without a jam or so much as a hiccup.
