| Dad recently bought the PT 145 and is not liking the trigger at all. Is there an upgrade available for the trigger or can something be done by a gunsmith? Thanks |

The Taurus trigger is what it is. I know of no upgrade or gunsmith fixes. After using my Gen 3 PT145 for over 3 years now I find the trigger works fine for me. It does take some getting used to. The long intial takeup seems to bother some people. But I really like having the second strike capibility of the set up alot.
