i have a SW 629 61/2" bbl. SS. getting older and sights getting harder to use so am wanting to put on one of those red dot scopes. any preferences on one that won't break the bank and will stand up to .44mag recoil?

Truglo makes one but I don’t know about their durability. Red dot, durability and won’t break the bank are a hard combo to get, especially when you start talking magnification.
If the red dot is optional, I’d look at a Burris pistol scope or the like.

so there'd be crosshairs? what if the magnification was out?
