Hey all, I've been looking at the "new" style Supertucks and they've peaked my interested once again. I had one of the first editions and didn't like it for a number of reasons that have seem to be remedied in these newer ones. Basically, I want to see a pic of one with a combat cut holding a 1911.

My big thing here is that with all the other holsters I have for my Kimber the beavertail sticks out past the leather and I would like it covered. Comp-Tac just redesigned their MTAC with a wider body shield to facilitate that and I want to compare the two to see which would have a better initial grip on the draw. That was one of my gripes with the Supertuck that I had is that there was still leather getting in my way when I gripped the pistol, and with the MTAC I don't have that problem.

Thanks.

I don't think I got the combat cut. I forget, I gave this too a friend because I can not carry in my new state. Any questions let me know I carried this set-up for 3 years. And have heard good things about the mtac too, when i get back to a normal state i will buy the mtac and see how it compares to the crossbreed below. full size springfield 1911 one in chamber full mag, lived in nc so it was hot and no gun damage, felt great even with a cheap belt.
