Went shooting today with my son. Busted the cherry on my new Glock 19 with the Streamlight TLR-3. I have heard some chatter online that the light came off when shooting. Couldn't be farther from the truth. Those people did not follow the instructions and just mounted it straight from the package to their pistol. It performed without flaw. I previously had an XD-9 sub, which I thought was the best until I shot the Glock. The sight setup seems to be different. I need to place the sights right on the target to hit bullseye. I typically research my purchases at least 6 months before I buy and I thought the XD was the way to go. Glock all the way. I am going to change out the trigger to the 3.5 lb. Didn't like the feel much at all. Love the gun. Have the Hogue grip, Glockmeister grip plug, and bought a 33rnd mag. for it. Do yourself a favor, don't purchase the 33rounder, buy 2 extra 15 round mags instead. Cool, but kinda useless..

Forgot to say that I highly recommend this light. It does not have a strobe, but I think it may be as distracting to the shooter as perhaps the badguy. Purchased off Midway USA. Transaction could not have been better.

It is a great light and I think the strobe feature on a handgun is relatively pointless.
