I just picked up my brand new Sig P226R, and my Don Hume holster for the arrived in the mail on the same day!!
I am excited to start carrying this pistol, but geez the holster is very tight. Other than just storing the Sig in the holster for a while, does anyone have any advice/methods to break the holster in any faster? It is a leather, open top design. Thanks for any assistance!! |

Thanks for any assistance!! in the past I have put the holster on, put the gun int he holster and then with the grip of the gun slightly twist the gun side to side and back and forth. do it very minimally, it does not take much to loosen it up abit. that and reapeately drawing and holstering an unlocked gun (look at it as practice).
