Hopefully this hasn't been beaten completely to death yet - what kind of night sights do you prefer and why?  I've heard some nice things about the XS big dots, but feel the idea of them is inherently inaccurate.

Trijicon ($90)
Meprolight ($70)
TruGlo ($110)
XS Sights ($99)

**if it makes a difference, this will be on a glock 19 and a USP compact**

They are all good,

XS night sights aren't inaccurate - don't know where you heard that one from, but it's not true.

If you find 3 dots to be better for you, then get those.

Any of the companies listed above are going to make a great product.

The Trijicon sights are very good and durable. Trijicon will stand behid them 100%.

I have a set that is still very bright and almost 9 years old, they have been banged around and never had any issues.

I am using Тrijicon for a year. Very good sights. I am recomend it. XS are very nice too, but I am accustomed to 3 dot configuration.

it it were me:

XSs if you plan on using your firearm for defensive purposes; its not 'inherently inaccurate' persay--sure, you wont be getting overlapping holes, but the sights will get you good enough ''groups''

where the XSs imo work BEST is while you are shooting on the move and dynamic shooting (not just static position, taking your time w/ shots)--they align fast

if you prefer traditional sights, i'd look to the trijicons myself...the meps and truglos are nice also, but i dont prefer the bigger sights
