I have the M3 although I voted for the SureFire because I really like Surefire.  I'm going to stick with the M3 for awhile until I get the money for an X200.  I bought the M3 on Ebay for $70.

Right now I'm debating whether or not to get a light for my Glock (should I?  What are the reasons?).  Otherwise my mind is set on the X200A or X200B.

M3 is junk IMO and the switching will turn to jello with heavy use then the levers break off.  You should be decidin between the M3X and X200 A or B.  M3X throws a beam almost as wide as the X200B and further than the X200A.  Its larger and more powerful than the X200 lights and is made of plastic, incadecent lighting which is slightly yellowish.  The X200 is smaller, lighter, and made of aluminum with LED durability and white light.  The X200 has better switching... its only disadvantage is total output but I find it enough for a pistol.  If ou need more than the X200 A or B get the M3X, if not get the B for short wide bean and A for longer, tighter beam.  I run an X200A on a P226R and am happy with it.

The M3 is a good light but has been surpassed in the market by the Surefire X200 series. If you want the best weapon mounted light for a handgun right now that is the X200B.

You bought the finest in handguns get it the finest accessories.
