Sold at an auction as 1911 magazines, once I had time to examine them(and try one in a 1911) they clearly are not.
They are longer front to back (so won't fit a 1911) and thinner side to side. I am thinking they are some sort of a .38 Super, 9x23 Largo or similar. Need to determine what they are so I can pass them on to someone who can use them. No markings that I could find. Pictured with a .45ACP 1911 magazine for comparison.
