Not a Streamlight, but what is your opinion in the Fenix LD09 2015 Edition ? Have you done a review on it, or on a comparable model? I needed a good EDC light that used AA so I didn't keep burning up the CR123s in the Surefire lights. I ordered it from Battery Junction yesterday, so maybe a little late. It'll just be used to look at stuff at night , or to work on things when I need light on something. It'll be used as a hand held light with a pistol at night , ( no rail 1911 GI ). I hate to be off topic, but just asking someone more knowledgeable than myself. Just ordered the ProTac 2aa and it should be here tomorrow. The price was right, and it sounds like a nice EDC light for me as it wont see near the harsh treatment you threw at it. Well, not on purpose anyway Thanks for the review. Thanks for reading After I posted the offer to have you test the light out, I looked at your torture of the Protac. I'm poor enough that I'd have to rescind the offer. lol I'll probably be better off keeping mine. Great review you did, but I'd never put a light through that. Good to see that it held up so well. |

Got my Protac in, and like it pretty well. I prefer to carry it in my back left pocket, and it fits nicely. In some of my jeans it barely fits enough to clip, but I can always move it to the front left pocket if I have to in those pants.
Plenty bright for an edc light, and the activation button works fine. Looks like a winner at this price point. |

Thanks for the review.
