Anyone have one of these holsters?  Thoughts?  Seems like it would be fairly practical and low key.

I have one, and it works pretty good as a way of hiding a handgun on the way to the car, if holster carry is out of the question and as a good travel holster.  The top flap tucks nicely between the mattress and box springs and holds the gun in a nice position for late night drawing.  I use it in such a capacity whether sleeping at a hotel or at home.  It's also less likely to be found there than in the drawer of a nightstand.

I have added a shoulder strap, and it's a good way to grab the gun quickly when the dog is whining at the front door.  The outside pocket holds an ID and CCW card as well as a checkbook or anything else thin you might wan't to put in there.

I live in a college town, and  wearing something like that doesn't stand out too much given the local fashions.  YMMV.  The only time I use it for general carry  (without a leash in my hand) is if I'm wearing something not conducive to holster carry.  If I'm in a hurry to run to the store and don't change out of scrubs when I get home, it works pretty good.  Also works well if wearing gym shorts.    And it occasionally gets thrown over the shoulder if I'm going for a bike ride.

I've never attached it to a belt, or a seatbelt.  I don't think it really works for belt carry.  Overall appearance is similar to a CD case.

thanks for the info - as a lawyer I can't carry to some places i.e. court houses - so some flexibility is nice on some days.
