Yes, I know that overall Triple K makes crappy mags.  However, they do make some mags for antique/obsolete pistols that are virtually hard to find otherwise.  That said, are they worth trying or should I continue looking for genuine mags?

Thanks

You answered your own question...

Me personally I would give them a shot, even though they are a crap shoot.

I had a High Standard .22 that was impossible to find magazines for. I took a chance and got some Tripple K magazines and they worked. YMMV.

I ran a sporting good and police shop for 13 years before going full time LEO.  I carried both Triple K and Pro Mag.  I really didn't want to carry either brand, because their quality was awful.  Still I carried them because the customer is always right and OEM magazines were " too high". Yes, I had guys buy  a $500.00 SIG P- 226 and complain about $25.00 for a OEM mag and $30.00 for a Don Hume holster.  So, I sold them a Triple K mag and a Bag Master holster for less than $30.00.

I also bought one of their High Standard mags and had very good luck with it. I'm not sure about the rest of their products, but that one does work very well. Indistinguishable from the original, exact same shade of blue in the body and the same lime green follower.
