For those of you with weapon-mounted lights...

How dirty does it get after firing?   How difficult is it to clean?

pretty bad on the pistol.....g17 or g19 with x300...... easy to clean, just wipe with cloth....if really bad, moisten with hoppes 9 then wipe.

rifle- never a problem.

just some carbon build up, easily cleaned by just wiping it off

Try using a Pencil eraser to clean all the carbon off the front of your weapon mounted light....works like a charm.

I have a X300 on a Glock 19. I clean mine after every range session which is around 200 rounds. I never had a problem getting it clean. You can also take it off if you are going to shoot a million rounds. Also heard putting clear tape over the lens will help for pratice.
