Does anyone have any feedback on the Nighthawk Leather Holsters?
I tried to search but couldn't find anything. I did notice they have options for cow, shark, badger, ostrich, elephant, stingray, alligator.
I am thinking of the cowhide "the stealth" model http://www.nighthawktactical.com/custom_leather.html |

VM-2 copy that costs more than an actual VM-2. I'd pass and place an order to Milt Sparks. Minimum 7 Month wait on all MiltSparks holsters
Anyone else have any suggestions? Yeah; if you're in the market for a style of holster they sell and they make one for your handgun; snap one up they look really well made. I wonder who makes that leather for them ? |

Anyone else have any suggestions? Judging from this comment and your original one concerning the materials in which they make holsters it would seem that you're not very familiar with custom leather holsters. Any reputable holster maker that deals in leather tends to have a long wait time. If you want one right now, you'll have to pay the price or settle for a lesser quality product. So it would seem that if you have to wait, then wait for the best. |

Obviously I am not very familiar with their holsters or I wouldn't have asked about them. it would stand to reason that they are a good company or they wouldn't have a seven month wait. Thanks for stating the obvious though

I didn't mean to come off as an ass, more as an FYI. The use of the " " would lead one to assume that you think it's stupid that they have such a long wait. So I was simply trying to convey that this wait time is typical. Since this wait time is typical it wouldn't make sense to pay more for a copy of a product that costs more.
But again, my apologies if I came off as a jerk. |

I was drinking and playing cards last night (at the time I was not doing very well). So I too apologize for reading more into what you posted.
I ordered the Nighthawk "Stealth" in shark skin. It is a 2 week wait... so alot more reasonable time frame. I bought a Nighthawk Talon 9mm to start carrying everyday now that it's cooler weather. I didn't want to wait 7 months and it be May/June 2011 before I got the VM-2. Now I am seriously debating ordering a VM-2 for my TRP Operator so I can compare the two products |

I don't own a nighthawk holster but I've seen and handled several and they're top notch gear. If you don't want to wait for a milt sparks ( of which I own several ) I'd suggest taking a look at the LA-CCS 5 shot leather makes for lightningarms.com. |
