I have a SC Springfield .40. Right now I have it loaded with ranger-t's. Does anyone know if the GD short barrel stuff is better out of a SC pistol? I don't feel "undergunned" with the Rangers, as I know they are good rounds, just wondering if the GD may be a little better since they're "designed" for short barrels.

The real question is what grain ranger t's are you carrying. I load 180 HST / ranger / gold dot in all my 40's now regardless. Any of those in 180 will serve you well.

Ranger T was designed to work in both short and full size bbls.
