Found some PMC Starfire 124g 9mm.  Checked the link at the top of the page, but it had no info on PMC in it.

Is this stuff GTG?  I normally carry Gold Dots loaded by Georgia Arms, but they have been out for awhile now.

Thanks!

Good bullet design (edit)for its time, but the velocity was never what was listed. All the ones I chroned were about 100-150 fps slower. I wish they had sold the bullets as a reloading component.

The Starfire was designed by the same guy as the HydraShock. The problem was the lack of speed, which would have aided  the expansion.

Thanks!  That is about all I can find right now, so I will pick some up.

No, it's not.

I've never seen any test data or real life outcomes with this brand of ammo. My several boxes are going to be used for "duty load" practice.

There are far better choices out there now. The Starfire is 15+ year old technology. Its still "decent", but I would seek out "newer" bullets.
