Does that just mean higher pressure? Does that referto anything else? also is +p any better than standardly loaded ammunitions?

It does indeed mean higher pressure, which translates to higher velocity. The higher velocity may be of value in shorter-barrel guns, and some people mention that it may increase reliability. The downside is more recoil/blast and slower follow-up shots. YMMV.

Also, make sure your weapon is rated for +p. grant it I have shot +p ammo in a non +p weapon, ya dont wanna be shooting hundreds or thousands of rounds of +p through a non +p weapon or else bad shit can happen

In autos it can over power the recoil  system leading to frame or slide fatigue or worse.

In revolvers it can crack yokes, forcing cones and beat the parts out of time.

I only use +P in guns rated for it. I also use the Corbon 38+P loads in a 3" 357 mag. model 60.
