I stumbled upon 5 boxes of Federal Champion FMJ at Walmart for $12.97 apiece and decided to take them all. But I've never seen/tried this ammo before. It's in a red box, 50ct. Is this stuff any better than your typical cheap WWB/Blazer ammo? How does it compare to Federal's American Eagle line? I tried searching on Federal Champion but nothing turned up. Anyone used this ammo?

I just picked up 6 boxes @ $8.97 each. Dude told me it's pretty much the same as Blazer Brass. Makes since I guess...same price, same copper washed looking bullet, and IIRC Federal owns CCI/Blazer. I just hope the brass is as good as the Blazer...

Springfield Mo. I went to several Walmarts and hit my 6 box limit, had my wife do the same. Came out with 2100 rounds of 9mm (100 rnd WWB and 50 rnd federal.) |
