| So...I go to my local gun show this weekend, and buy 500 rounds of Winchester White Box 45ACP, 230gr FMJ. When I get home to put them in my safe...actaully had to move the Krugerands and left them on my dresser...I notice the boxes are marked "Made in the Czech Republic" WTF ?? |

I have heard from reputable sources that current Winchester White Box Value Pack ammunition is produced in at least two, and possibly three (or more) factories - one in the US, one in the Czech Republic and, one in Mexico. There have also been reports that the Czech-produced ammunition is often sub-standard and rife with problems-to be avoided if at all possible. YMMV |

I can't speak for the current lots of WWB, but back a few(6 maybe) years ago Win was having WWB ammo made by Sellier & Bellot (according to the interweb). I have shot well over 10k of S&B pistol ammo, w/o any trouble(plus rifle ammo). I would have NO problems shooting Czech made ammo from S&B or their plants. http://www.sellier-bellot.cz/
