| Thicknesses of jackets may vary, not just between TMJ (TMC) and FMJ, but also among bullets with each. Should be no difference to your firearm. The only true difference i'm aware of is that FMJ is not truly FMJ. The base of the bullet is exposed lead. Not so with TMJ or TMC or encapsulated or some other terms. The problem is now, I have a couple boxes of Horny FMJs that have enclosed bases. *shrug* |
