I am selling my 5.7 to a local guy. We have reached an agreement on the price of the pistol itself.

The problem is in pricing the ammo I have for the pistol. I have 8 boxes of the SS192, 15 boxes of the ss196, and 2 of the ss197sr.

From looking at gunbroker.com it appears that the 192 brings a premium. Any advice as to what it is worth, or how to sell it if he doesn't want to pay a fair price for the ammo?

Thanks for your help.

The ss196 and ss197 are around $20/box

The ss192 for some stupid reason is $50+ per box.  I know the ss192 is no longer imported into the US and the replacement is ss195 which is the EXACT same round with a different primer.  For that reason I can't figure out why retards pay a premium for the ss192 when they could have the exact same round for 30% of the cost.  Then again the same retards are buying the Black Talon round when they could be buying the new and improved T series for 30% of the cost.  Any way $50+ is the going rate for a box of ss192.......I might just keep the ss192 ammo and hope the 5.7 becomes more popular and thus the going rate will keep going up.

You can always sell the ss192 on Gunbroker.......

SS195 lead-free primers are reported to degrade more quickly (within 10 years), so SS192 may be more appropriate for long-term stockpiling.

Thanks for the reply

I sold it to a guy at the funshow - didnt realize I had that much tied up in the ammo cost. I got a little less per box for the 192 and a little more per box for the rest - so I'm happy enough.

Bought an M&P pistol with the proceeds. Feels like a gun bought with found money.
