I have a .357b magnum Ruger GP100 and it shoots .357 mag .38 spl+P,.38 Special +P+ and the regular .38 spl round. What does the +p and the +P+ mean?

As far as 9mm is concerned, +p+ is basically ammo loaded to ridiculously accepted levels,

and gets you more velocity.
