Anybody know what a good cheap source would be for 10mm ammo? Looking for hollow points if possible, reloaded ammo is fine. Just bought a glock 29.

yeah, thats a good one. i might buy a couple of boxes from them, however i think a 165 grain load with 700+ ft lbs of power or the 135 grain with 750+ ft lbs will have a little bit of recoil shot from a glock 29, not to mention muzzle flash. also at $24.50/box or $219/case of 500, the ammo is not the cheapest available. you can get 9mm for around $60/case of 500. even though 10mm is more expensive, I was looking at something around $10-12/box. thx.

The problem with most 10mm stuff is that it's downloaded from it's full potential .
The doubletap ammo is full power spec .

But if you're looking for $10-12 a box ammo , you can find plenty in that
price range at places like SPORTSMANS GUIDE .

What exactly is all needed to reload 10mm ammo? Obviously, you need the brass, powder, bullets, and primers; but what types of dies, presses, and other material are needed? Georgia arms and outdoor marksman look like good choices. I just purchased at a local gun shop some Remington UMC 10mm with nickel plated brass for about $16 per 50 and some reloaded JHP ammo from the hunting shack(HSM) for about the same price. That's almost as expensive as .44 magnum. What is the signifacance of nickel-plated brass? Is it easier to reload or does it last longer? I think the 10mm has enough power that you don't really need the full power stuff unless you want to hunt with it. Where would be a good place to buy all this reloading quipment? Midway USA, sportsman's warehouse are a couple of ones I know off. Thanks for all your input.

10mm uses large primers instead of small, any projectile that works for the 40SW works in the 10mm, the 40SW dies work for 10mm

Brass or nickle plated brass doesn't matter, nickle plated shines up easier when tumbled.

and don't go shooting 40sw in your 10mm. It may work but it is NOT reliable and NOT safe despite what some bozo's will tell you

i find sportsmans guide to be a little pricey sometimes.  try natchez for slightly better prices--at least on ammo.  i don't know how the 2 compare on reloading supplies.

Miwall from Outdoor Marksman.  Double Tap is better, and with free shipping on large orders are competitive, but the Miwall is still cheaper and better for the range.
