Has the HST ever come in the 20rd box?
I notice midwayusa says they might be instock in early march. This is a good thing if ATK now offers this ammo to everyone else. I know Ive sent several emails asking them to offer it to everyone. since winchester offers the PDX line . just not going to use federal guard dog for SD EDIT TO ADD One can go to federal website and see they offer the PUBLIC NOW> |

LE HST to my knowledge, has never been a .gov only round. Ive used it in all of my side arms and have had great success. All I have ever seen is 50 round boxes as it is targeted to LEO or .gov personnel.
In my opinion and my testing show the HST to be black talons on steroids. |

Basically it has been avalable in the 50/rd LE boxes, just like Ranger-T and Goldt Dots.
But now it will be available in 20rd boxes just like gold dots and PDX1. Most likely at $1/rd like the others. Doesnt really mean anything as it has been available in the LE packaging already. |

They announced at SHOT that they will make it available for civilian sales. I'm a civilian and have purchased it 5-6 times, still not understanding this issue. It'd blooms like flower in A wet phone book... It's Federal's policy to not sell to civilians. Thus the reason you'll never see it at your local gun shop. (As opposed to a round like Gold Dot). The reason it's available online is usually from over-run's of LEO orders. It's not against the law to buy it or possess it, just against Federal's policy. |

Quoted: I don't know why you'd only want 20 rnds
![]() I dont know why anyone would only want just 20rds
Now I can think of a few reason why I like the 20rd boxes HSTavailable to the public.! I dont always want to order over the the internet. I might not have the money to make it worth while. Sometimes it just easier to do my shoping at wallyworld and if I need ammo I can buy a box or 2 of the hst. BTW Buying 50rd boxes of LE ammo over the internet is old news! |

The boxes that go to places like Dhs are plane white with black writing like mil 5.56. The hst in stores markets to the plublic have bright blue boxes designed to catch the eye. Bright and fancy like federal fusion ammo. |
