| The DA trigger pull on my 1993 W. German 220 is looooooooooong and HEAVY (got to be around 8-10lbs). Are there springs i can replace myself to help this, or can anyone reccomend a smith near NY that don't have a 2 month turn around time? I do not want to take a chance with light primer strikes, so anything that would do that needs to be avoided. I also want a short trigger installed. Anyone know a ballpark figure for this work? |

It's not that hard. You can buy a Wolf spring, 17 lb main spring is as low as I would go. Go to Brownells and get the DVD on Sig Classic series assembly and disassembly. You can do the whole job in less than an hour. The short trigger will run $35 to $50 depending on where you buy it. The spring shouldn't be much over $10 to $18, depending on whether you get a spring kit or not. |
