I am cleaning up a friends Webley Mark VI and i am noticing a problem. When I dry fire the revolver in double action, i pull the trigger all the way back and it hangs for about 3 seconds before the hammer drops. When i attempt to shoot it in single action, the hammer drops to something similar to a half cock, and then i release the trigger and the hammer slowly falls with the trigger release. Sometimes, however, it functions just fine. It seems to be random. I have not taken apart the revolver any more than taking off the grips. Any help would be greatly appreciated to restore this piece of history. Thank you very much.
