I am currently working on an ordeal with a stop payment on a "new" gun, and am trying to build a case. My card advisor who is helping me out with the stop payment advised me to get as many opinions from gun shops and gunsmiths as possible in writing saying that they believe the gun to be used, not new. So I started a thread with pictures included in the Smith & Wesson forum, when I was trying to get information for myself, and got many responses stating used (which is what I thought). So what I am asking, if you have the time, is to post in that thread or this one that you, ... , believe this gun appears to be used; or if you have already posted in that thread and you wouldn't mind stating that you are a gunsmith, and or stating who you are I would appreciate it as well! | Gunsmith here. I'd guesstimate that gun has seen the better part of a thousand rounds, probably more. I had the same gun that I bought used with 200 rounds through it and then fired another 100 before I sold it. You could hardly even tell mine was shot at that point so it should give you some frame of referance. ––ST |
