Decided to do a full polish on the action of my SP101. I've got it torn down and pulled the trigger return spring + spring cups out. The bore in the trigger housing for these parts is rough(slow your $%$#% feed rates down and use sharp tools Ruger!!!!), and the exterior of both spring cups is pretty rough(read above again Ruger) and they're so damn small it's nearly impossible to hold them to do any polishing.

This is going to take longer than I thought.

Mostly done and test fired. Found two spots where the trigger was rubbing the trigger housing so I sanded them down. Polished the spring cups + the bore where they ride...zero friction now. Also polished the inside of the spring cups to reduce friction between the spring and the cup. Greased everything, installed Wolff RP springs. Still need to polish DA engagement surfaces and work on the cylinder stop release mechanism to remove the "click" when it releases from the catch in the trigger.

A+ for Wolff RP springs.

I did the same with my Rugers and their trigger pull really profited from it, a real trigger job like that is a whole different world than just a spring change.
