The slide on my wife's P22 won't go all the way forward after depressing the slide stop or automatically after ejecting a spent case. This started occurring at the range and I had to manually push the slide forward to chamber a round. The pistol has been cleaned and I still get the slide stick, so I don't think it is buildup that's causing the problem. I assume it is also broken in since 500 rds have been shot through it. Is there an easy fix or is this something Walther should look at?

Most likely needs a new recoil spring.  Seriously, that's probably all it is.  Send an email to Walther, and they will either give you one, or sell you one pretty cheap.

I myself would send the gun back to Walther. Make sure to call and not e-mail only.

Is there any lube on the slide?
It takes very little, but not many guns will not run with none.

I tried it with and without lube, same result.  I'll try the spring and see if that works.  Thank you very much guys!
