GHOST GLOW PAINT KIT

I see this listed at Natchez.  Any one ever used it?  How did it function?
I have a Taurus Millenium Pro and did not want to spend a lot for night sights.

Save your money.

These Glow in the Dark" paints will only glow for a short time, and only AFTER you shine a bright light on it to "charge it up".

If for instance you paint the front sight, and carry the gun in a holster, when you draw the gun the sight will not glow AT ALL, since the sight was in the dark holster.
If you stop and shine a bright flashlight on the paint for a few minutes, the paint will glow for a short time, but fades quickly.
For this reason, you'd be better off to just use the flashlight to illuminate the target.

Real night sights use Tritium, which is a nuclear material that actually generates it's own light.  You can put a Tritium sighted gun in a dark drawer, and 6 months later pull it out, and it's glowing brightly.
Tritium sights have a 10 year "Half Life".
In other words, in 10 years, they'll be glowing 1/2 as bright as when new.  Most night sights have a usable service life of "about" 10 to 15 years.
