I currently have 4 kimber 1911s and kimber recomends fp-10 to be used, do you think the fp10 is good enough for preventing rust on the steel barrels?

I use CLP but occasionally I have to pull the bbl and use flitz polish. They really should have sprung for stainless bbls. or blued them.

That works. I use CLP or good old Hoppe #9 and I've never had rust....ever. I use them both on my Kimbers and every gun I own.
