whats the best to use for the do it yourself person???
I see brownells has some , looks easy. duracoat guncoat ????? |
| Take a look over at the "Refinishing" area, lots of info there. In a nutshell, air dry, rattle can, spray on coatings are cheap, easy to apply, and least durable. We're talking about Krylon, Aluma-Hyde, etc. Bake on coatings applied with an air-brush last longer, but are more expensive. Dura-Coat seems to be the most widely known. Cere-Coat and KG Gun Kote seem to be the toughest. Metal prep and degreasing is the keys to sucess. |
