Hi guys,
Just got myself a cheap second hand 686, but the front sight is damaged and can no longer put that red bright plastic piece secured in it. Been thinking of filing the whole front sight off and put a new blade on. Does anyone know where I can find such blade or are there any other way of fixing it? Also thinking of putting a scope mount for a red dot. My 686 is the older version without the pre drilled holes under the rear sight, is there any mount that I could buy by just using the existing holes for the rear sight? Thanks so much! |

You can get a competant gunsmith to machine your sight off and install a Fiber Optic front, and also a good gunsmith can drill holes for the scope mount. While there are many good machinists/gunsmiths out there I would recommend Pinnacle guns in PA.
