| Is there a big differnece between the spec ops and the regular M&P. I own a M&P9 and I heard the spec ops is tighter. and is the extra money only going towards the etched slide and threaded barrel? |

Unless it has a performance center sear, then yes, the only difference is the gay writing and threaded barrel. Might as well just spend that extra money on night sights, which will, more than likely, be far more useful than a threaded barrel. But I already posted in your other thread. I love M&Ps, but I just don't think you should get hosed. |

I own a Spec Ops model. A police shooting instructor compared my gun to his Pro series as to barrel length and it was shorter than his Pro. As for the performance center sear, no mention.....
I agree the etching is a little "out there" and I could do without it, but let's not call it gay. That's hate speech after all! The Spec Ops etching is right up there with the macho "For Law Enforcement/Military Use" labeling on my Eotech. I bought my Spec Ops because the package was a good deal on a good gun that someday I might suppress. |
