| What parts would be required and how much would it cost and how hard would it be to convert a DAO M64 with a bobbed hammer to a Double/Single action? |

Depends. If it's a genuine DAO gun with no SA sear notch, you'll have to replace the hammer at the least. I haven't examined my DAO M66 and a SA/DA model side by side so I do not know whether the trigger is different. Even if the triggers are identical, it may not be possible to properly fit a new hammer to your existing trigger.
Hammer, $40-$50 IIRC. Trigger should be about the same. Both parts will need tweaking/fitting by someone who knows what they are doing. I would guess $150+ total. With maybe $20 in parts and a little time spent polishing, you can have a nice 8-9 pound DA trigger, possibly a bit lighter, and still have 100% reliability. |
