I just fell in love with the Preformance Center 66 F-Comp at a local funshop.. It's lightly used, and they are asking $595 for it. The only one I found online is this one, is the guy smoking crack, or should I run, not walk back to buy it..

He is probably on crack, but if the gun you looked at does not have the new internal lock, the price is very good at $595.

Even with the lock, it sounds like a fair price if it's in VG-Excellent condition.  The one you posted a link to is way overpriced, IMO.  I have one like what you are looking at, with the internal lock.  I got it in trade with a few sets of grips and the original PC aluminum case.  The trade value put on it was around $550 if I remember correctly.

The K-frame .357 mag is the best carry revolver out there.  I prefer fixed sighted models, like the M13 or M65, but the F-Comp is a good option.  When I get my custom 3" M13 back from Karl Sokol at Chestnut Mountain Sports, I'll be carrying that instead of my F-Comp.  His work is beautiful.  If you could pick up a used K-frame and have Karl do the work to it, I'd bet that you would be happier with it than a Performance Center gun.  I've always been very happy with Karl's work.  The PC does nice work, but it's more of a mass production custom gun vs Karl's true customs.  There's just a little more attention paid to detail.  Not that the PC guns suffer in the quality department, but with having Karl build you a wheelgun, you get exactly the options you want and none that you don't.  Like the lock for example.
