| Can anyone find the info/stats on a CS40??? I found one today at the shop and for a dang good price, so i couldn't turn it down. It was on consignment so it didn't have a book. Thanks... |

My father liked the CS Series, so I got him a CS40. He loves it. I saw the CS Series when they were nothing but welded up prototypes and was asked my opinion on them. I told them I liked it, except for the grips. They stood there with their mouths open after I said that, since they got those grips and designed the frame around them because they liked them so much. Personally, I don't like rubber grips on my carry guns. They bunch up your shirt every time you bend over, and sometimes drag during a draw. I do believe that Hogue makes wooden grips for them. IMO, the perfect grips for it would be standard plastic S&W grips, but that's not going to happen. If it's comfortable for you, I'm sure you'll be happy with it. My father's shot the snot out of his and never had a malfunction of any kind. It carries well in the G&G belt holster I got him for it, too. |
