My buddy purchased this M19 in the 70s and sold it to me last year.
He said he maintained it and only shot it a few times.
To my surprise it was in mint condition, in the box with his original sales receipt!

Hello all, new to the handgun side ar15.com.  Figured I'd show off my wheelgun over here...

It's a hand-me-down Pre-27 3.5" given to me by my father in law and used on the mean streets of Chicago.  I've considered sending it back to S&W for a reblue, but there's something about duty holster wear that gets to me...

On the right is my Model 65. No recoil to speak of with .38 Special. Very controllable with .357 Magnum, not painful by any means.

I have a 5943 (kindof obscure DAO 9mm) that i picked up for under $250. not my favorite pistol in the world but I've done some work to it and it has been 100% reliable. very underrated. I've become rather attached to it. I carry it every day and can't complain about it much.

melt job and KG gun coat. the guncoat is now removed because I was having problems with it chipping. its just polished until I get a chance to duracoat it.

number 89 out of 186.  Friend of my dad's bought number 90.  Neither of us could quite afford both.  Hopefully someday maybe he'll want to sell it, and I'll be right there ready to buy.  Then I'll have 2 with consecutive serial numbers.  I don't think I'll fire this one either.  The cylinder has barely been rotated.
