Stopped by the local fun shop to pick up a frame and noticed this little beauty in the display case. It's a 639 in 9mm. Paid a little bit more than what I wanted but it came with four factory mags so it's evened out. Attached File |

I’ve owned a couple of the single stack 3rd gen Smiths over the years, and looked at some auctions for and pawn shops for 5903 or 5906’s but wasn’t having any luck for anything decent. Then my buddy decided to let this 6906 go and it’s in like new condition Attached File Attached File |

I was a little upset with the 5906 I recieved earlier this week. After a few minutes with a red and grey scotch brite, I have to say I’m happy with it now. Especially since the internals looks good. S&W Model 916A Riot Shotgun, made in the early 1970s. Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File The S&W worked flawlessly. Cycled smoothly and without issue. These guns were hit or miss, either they worked flawlessly out of the box or they were garbage and didn't work worth a damn. Mine worked fine. |

I was in the safe today and fondled this old gal. When I really think about it and am honest, the 6906 is close to the top of my personal list of all time favorite pistols, and maybe firearms in general. It's just so darn "Goldilocks" in my mind.   |
