[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Shield 9mm Performance Center ported question

I am not a fan of the safety on the M&P Shield's. I know they make a model without the thumb safety. I however am very interested in the Shield 9mm Performance Center model, but it appears it only comes with a thumb safety. No option like the regular shields with NO thumb safety.

Can swap the slide and internals (trigger) with a basic shield frame? And BAM.......No thumb safety PC shield.

Or just carry w/ the thumb safety off? Or just remove it?

I just carry mine with the safety off.

The safety isn't an issue. Leave it off. It's stiff enough that if won't be accidentally switched on.

Or you can just take it out the safety.
