Shield says "CAUTION CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED"

How would you remove this?  Paint stripper seems excessive, as does a grinder.

dental pick?

Lawyers added it for a reason, that reason being there are retards who have and will do it with ND's, and it prevents S&W from being sued by idiots.

Personally, it doesn't bother me at all, I carry mine and it see's a holster most of the time and when practiced with, it gets put back in the holster. It's a tool, not a plaything to fondle.

I'd leave it alone. Be thankful it's only on the right side of the slide and not plastered all over the darn gun

Honestly, I don't think you will find a way to do it that will look good without spending hundreds of $$$.

You might try to darken in the lettering with one of these.

That warning reminds me that I purchased the correct model Shield.
