Got a shield. Great gun but the trigger is fecking dreadful.
Bought an Apex action/trigger set. Awesome products but their install tutorials snd setup is horrible. I muddled through and got the frame put together. Sadly I beat the shit out of the rear site on reinstall following the slide parts install (totally my fault). NowI need a new rear site and I want an aggressive one that I can charge off a bootheel or belt one-handed (I am both confounded and disgusted by manufacturer's insistence on sloping an area that kills tactical value while offering next to nothing in snag free advantage. Anyway, the first thought is 10-8 because they thrive on this kind of thing. Any other suggestions that incorporate this feature? |

After careful consideration of all your awesome input I went forward and purchased a set.
I know that many of you are just chomping at the bit to find out which option I chose out of your multitude of "thoughtful suggestions", but we'll just pretend that I went with yours.

What combo are you going with? I'd love to match a 10-8 rear with a trijicon HD front. Quoted:

Good choice, I put the 10-8 blacked-out rear sight on all of my M&Ps - love the front edge. For a front sight I always use the Trijicon HD. What combo are you going with? I'd love to match a 10-8 rear with a trijicon HD front. I've got the 10-8 rear sights with notch width: .140" and the Trijicon .230" (overall height) x .130" width fronts. Stock M&P sight sizes are as follows. Front Sight Width: 0.130, Height: 0.160 (from slide), 0.230 (total) Rear Sight Notch: 0.140, Height: 0.170 (from slide), 0.240 |
